President tells the Church to do what?
February 7, 2012Our President's arrogance has grown to a new high. Not only has he shoved his agenda down the throats of America, not only has he circumvented the Constitution (which he recently stated that the Constitution was too restrictive for him), not only has he increased the number of people being dependent upon the government, not only has he increased our debt faster and greater than any president before him, not only has he stifled small business through his strong arm known as the EPA, now, with arrogant confidence, he has decided to take on his biggest challenge: he has declared war on the church! He knows it will bring an outbreak of voices, but he also knows that people forget quickly and don't stay in the battle long. He obviously feels he has momentum going into the election in November, but I for one, believe he has awakened a sleeping giant, and it has been sleeping!
In the name of "employee needs" (and of course, 'women's rights'. If your employer doesn't provide the kind of insurance you believe you need, work somewhere else), he is forcing the church to provide birth control measure coverage, against their conscious and teaching, to their employees. And out of the 'kindness' of his heart, he is giving a one year grace period for the church to get this worked out! To work out what? The church CANNOT compromise on Biblical truth and principle, period! If it does, then the church will be bowing to its new god and we see all through Scripture what happened to God's people when they bowed to false gods.
If this doesn't get pastors off their pulpit and speaking out for our first amendment rights, our nation will be lost. Those who teach the Word of God are responsible to protect the people as well as warn the people. If we as pastors allow the mighty dollar to close our mouths, then the enemy has won, and there's only one enemy. We must call this President what he is, a destroyer of our Constitution, a hater of our capitalistic system, and a supporter of the Global Islamic Movement. Jesus said that we would know a tree by its fruit. It's not hard to identify what kind of fruit our President is producing. Every point I listed can be proven easily.
Pastors, wake up and stand up, with the courage and boldness of the clergy in the days before the War of Independence. Even Britain said if it hadn't been for the clergy, they would have won the war! If you claim to be a Christian or a moral person, wake up and stand up against our anti-American leadership and call your congressman to tell them to stand up as well. If the silent majority stays silent, America will quietly disappear from history.
