On August 15, 2011, Tonya and I celebrated our 30th anniversary! We have a 26 year old son, Bryce, his wife Kristen and their new baby, Brice Elisabeth. Both Bryce and Kristen graduated from the University of Oklahoma. They live in Fort Worth, Texas, where Bryce works for a general contracting company as a project manager.
We also have a 25 year old daughter, Brittne, who was a missionary in Lima, Peru for three years. Before she went to the foreign mission field, Brittne graduated from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri.
Tonya also graduated from Northeastern State University and has been successful in numerous work experiences. Being the lead person in a Human Resource department, she designed and implemented employee training programs, and an employee fitness program, where she won a State of Oklahoma award. She is very talented and is not only my wife, but my strong right arm as well.

As Americans, though we have the freedom to choose, we don't always have choices to choose from. Dwayne Thompson offers the choice for a true fiscal and moral conservative. With a common sense approach to solving problems, Dwayne Thompson knows the difference between a political decision and the right decision. A political decision is rarely right and the right decision is rarely political. Those who know Dwayne characterize him as a hard working, authentic, man of integrity.
Growing up north of Owasso and raised in a blue collar, union family, Dwayne credits his father with instilling a strong work ethic, as he witnessed hard work firsthand. “My dad taught me to work for everything you obtain in life and not to be dependent upon others to support you," states Thompson. After graduating from Owasso High School, Dwayne played basketball for Coach Ken Trickey at Claremore College. From there Dwayne walked on at Northeastern State University where he made the team and played for Coach Jack Dobbins for the remainder of his elgibility. With a Bachelor's Degree from Northeastern State University and a Masters Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, he understands that hard work and education is paramount to the success of our community, our state and our nation.
Dwayne spent the next ten years after graduating Northeastern State University in sales. Seven of those years were in sales management where he built a sales department from the ground up. During those years, he opened up new territories and increased sales from $300 thousand a year to $3 million a year in less than four years with two salesman, himself being one. Later Dwayne became responsible for seven employees and two remote offices with sales increasing to over $5 million. It was during these years that Dwayne learned how to keep costs down and profits up.
In 1994, Dwayne obtained a Masters degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and then moved to Montana as a church planter. To date, Dwayne has started two churches from zero and helped another church recover from a church split. All three churches are doing well today.
A moral and fiscal conservative, Dwayne believes in the sanctity of life and traditional marriage. He believes in a limited, efficient government, a balanced budget amendment and is a strong supporter of the Constitution, especially the right to bear arms.
Dwayne is dedicated to leading like minded people to return to the principles of our Founding Fathers. "I am a man of integrity; honest with strong moral principles; undivided between right and wrong; unimpaired by those in moral opposition; and consistent, not lead to corruption."
